2 year old male Wheaten Terrier
Notes: Joey was recently groomed and today his owner asked for a colour dyed tail. Joey was very vocal and moved throughout the procedure. He was not fond of being blow dried.
Shampoo: Crystal Clean Fragrance Free / Facial Scrub (before dye was applied)
Conditioner: Soos Ultra Creme (after dye was applied)
Joey was dried with a stand dryer and was stretch brushed with a Slicker and Greyhound Comb
Conditioner was applied proximal to the tail (around the base of the tail), on his buttocks, and down the plantar plane of his back legs to about the hock joint. A first attempt was made to apply a green-to-blue Ombré with Critter Colour along the tail, but the dye did not hold when rinsed. A teal colour of Crazy Liberty dye was then used. The tail was wrapped in foil until set then rinsed out with conditioner.
